Voters for Taxis -
giving a voice to the taxi customer
Elevate the discussion. Broaden the options.

On Engagement - What will Voters for Taxis do about Engagement?

Given the many demands on their time and resources, most citizens prefer not to be involved in most public decisions.

And if they do get involved, they will want to be prepared by understanding the current situation, having relevant information, and what needs doing to influence direction.

Voters for Taxis will provide that relevant information primarily through this website and on occasion through media and related means when the situation suggests those approaches.

Citizens, when engaging, also want to have available a number of ways of interacting with decision-makers and influencing direction.

Voters for Taxis will continue to press the authorities for multiple means of engagement with supporting data and information, that enables broader public participation and decision-making transparency.

And finally, when citizens have put in the time and effort to engage, they want to feel that they have participated in a process that incorporates their public input in a meaningful way. And to be advised of that.

Voters for Taxis will report on all activity related to public consultation regarding upgrading taxi service and the changes in bylaw requirements to support that upgraded service.

How will we do this? See "Our Public Consultation Plan"
