Public Education Series
Voters for Taxis has launched a Public Education Series, presented to help inform the community of issues and challenges related to addressing and improving the taxi industry business model. This Series is about offering "consumer first" language, not "industry first" jargon.
The first Article in this Series is titled "What’s the Right Number of Cabs? Debunking the Myths, Confronting the Realities." and can be accessed here, as well as the Press Release regarding its launch, here.
Each Article in the Series will follow the same format - short, to the point, and available for download and redistribution.
Articles will be presented on a once-a-month basis and will reflect on key aspects of the current service and operating delivery model in Calgary as well as provide perspectives on successes and challenges elsewhere.
Through this endeavour, Voters for Taxis will provide the means by which the public can provide informed public policy responses to key decision makers in this, an election year in Calgary.
The Public Education Series:
1. "What’s the Right Number of Cabs? Debunking the Myths, Confronting the Realities". Article and Press Release
2. "Taxicab Performance in Calgary: Defining Consumer ExpectationsDebunking the Myths, Confronting the Realities".Article
